The weather's been a bit off and crummy lately so the latest VHP meeting scheduled for THIS coming FRIDAY, March 7th @ 4PM at the Red Gym MSC Conference Room should cheer you right up! ;D Why? Because there will also be a DESSERT POTLUCK! So, feel free to shower us with your presence or bring your own tasty desserts and/or snacks to share. You don't want to miss this meeting because not only will we be discussing upcoming events for VHP (which you shouldn't miss out on) but Hoai's also planning on baking cupcakes! :) :) :)

5.27.07 - VHP's co-adviser, Judy Ladinsky will soon be making her bi-annual trip to Vietnam. She will need help packing medical supplies, some of which VHP helped to collect. If you are interested in assisting, please meet at the Medical Sciences Building. Packing will take place between 11AM and 1PM.
4.27.07 - The Ben & Jerry's IceCream Fundraiser will take place between 7-8PM. Ben & Jerry's is located on State Street across from the Overture Center. Tell your friends because 20% of the profits during that hour will go towards VHP's projects.
4.9.07 - VHP will be holding the last of three Pizza Sales that will take place between 11:15AM and 1:30PM in the entry way of the Chemistry Building (on Mills Street). Topping choices include Pepperoni, Cheese, and Sausage.

4.12.07 - (On Thursday) VHP will be holding a meeting between 6:00-8:00PM at the Red Gym, Mezzanine Room C. VHP will prepare for elections, in nominating members for SEVEN board positions (2 for campus committee, 2 for fundraising, 2 for outreach, and a secretary).
3.21.07 - VHP will be holding a meeting in the Red Gym's Mezzanine A/B at 6:30PM. Many upcoming Fundraising Events to be discussed.
2.8.06 - VHP will be having another meeting beginning at 8:30PM in the Red Gym, Conference Room, Level M. You need to come if you are planning on travelling with VHP to Vietnam this summer: May 21/22 to June 13/14 (see Trip Update for more details). There MAY be pizza -the only way to know is to come to the meeting!
1.31.07 - VHP will hold its first meeting of the semester from 4-6PM in the Red Gym Mezzanine D. One of our members, Nikki, will talk about her experiences in Vietnam this past winter break.

12.14.06 – We will have our last meeting of the semester on Thursday, December 14th at 7:30PM in the MSC Conference Room of the Red Gym. There will be a pot luck so if you are attending feel free to bring a dish or some snacks to pass around. Questions? Contact Hoai (hnguyen1@wisc.edu)
11.18.06 – The Vietnamese Student Association is sponsoring their First Annual Culture Night. The show will highlight the richness of both traditional and modern Vietnamese culture through music, dance, song, fashion show along with many other performances. Their goal is to promote Vietnamese culture within the community as well as on campus. Refreshments will be available. VHP will be displaying a slide show and selling VHP T-shirts at this event.

11.2.06 – The next meeting will take place on Thursday, November 2nd at 7:30 in the MSC Conference Room of the Red Gym.
We are holding a contest for T-Shirts designs. The winner will receive a Free T-shirt they designed as well as have their name posted on the VHP website. The deadline for the contest is 3PM on Thursday, October 12th, 2006. The members of VHP will vote on their favorite design and the winner will be notified by e-mail. The design of the T-shirt should incorporate the VHP logo. All students are eligible to enter. To enter, please submit a copy of your original drawing of any media in black & white. The submission can be done by e-mail to hnguyen1@wisc.edu or be dropped off at the VHP mailbox in the Red Gym SOO office on the 2nd floor.
